Welcome to Jurislingue
The Free On-line Dictionary Jurislingue is a dictionary of legal terms, currently available in 7 languages: Portuguese/ French/ English/ German/ Dutch/ Spanish/ Italian.
As a legal dictionary, it contains the vocabulary of relevant areas of law without, however, pretending to be complete. On the contrary, as a work and information tool, it has to be constantly updated and improved. So, your feedback through the suggestions / commentary box is essential in helping us to complete and improve the dictionary.
This dictionary enables its users to:
- Search for legal terms, national and foreign government departments and/or organisations, as well as bilateral and multilateral agreements in 7 languages;
- Find word families and/or contexts in which the words are used, in 7 languages;
- Find a definition for each term in the Portuguese section;
- Find acronyms in the section “Bodies”.
